Trustees Kevin Fitzgerald, Mary-Grace Tomecki, Deputy Mayor Jim Rhatigan and Trustee Dom Longobardi join Mayor Tom Tweedy in presenting a Welcome Certificate to Donna Dertinger of Home Sweeter Home Design Center, 344 Jericho Turnpike. Interior Designer Donna Dertinger and partner Vinnie Ambrosh welcomed family and friends to the Grand Opening of their beautiful new location in Floral Park. Donna and Vinnie provide client design services and work with many local architects. They recognize and utilize many talented local craftsmen and contractors and are working to create a network of local contractors and suppliers. Donna and Vinnie invite all to stop in and visit their elegant new showroom:
The Donnelly Group II had its ribbon cutting Sept. 16th at: 142 Plainfield Ave. with all the generous trimmings of a New Year's Eve gala event. Mayor Kevin Greene presents a Certificate of Welcome to Park Place Restaurant, 41 Covert Avenue. Accepting the citation is Pat O’Halloran, flanked by Sergio & Carlo Deciantis and Matt Tesoriero. Also present to welcome Park Place are Trustees Dominick Longobardi, Jim Rhatigan, FPCC President: Sal Bonugura, Covert Ave COC Ann Musso, Village Justice Douglas Hayden, Trustees Mary-Grace Tomecki -TomTweedy. Park Place has been newly renovated and decorated with charming photos capturing points of interest in Floral Park, New Hyde Park and Stewart Manor.
Mayor Kevin Greene presents a Certificate of Welcome to SEISHINKAN located at 260 Jericho Tpke. in October 2010. Accepting the citation is owner Michael Calandra and Cathy Faulkner. Also present to welcome Seishinkan is Village Trustees, Thomas Tweedy, Jim Rhatigan, Mary Grace Tomecki, Floral Park Chamber President, Sal Bonagura and Dom Longobardi.
Mayor Kevin Greene presents a welcome Citation to Antonio Hurtado, owner of Atelier Jewelers at 10 Woodbine Court. Antonio is a familiar face. He first opened a shoe repair service 12 years ago, he expanded in 1999 into the adjoining store selling fine leather goods, jewelry and artworks, now Atelier Jewelers, specializing in fine jewelry, repairs and custom work, completes his vision. Joining Antonio are his staff, Rosa Gormley and Willy Puga. Also on hand are Trustees Dom Longobardi, Jim Rhatigan, Mary-Grace Tomecki and Deputy Mayor Tom Tweedy.
